Back in 2005…I was at a meeting and someone shared – what was to me - a striking insight about this verse. The speaker explained how he has experienced the Lord’ s renewal. He shared that, as he was walking down the aisle, he realised how the Lord had freed him the mistakes of his past and gave him the grace to live the present . This time as a whole being, no longer with that ‘deficit’ he had caused himself in the past.
Over the years, I have literally clinged to this verse…and asked the Lord to do this miracle of renewal in my life.
We all have caused pain to ourselves and to others…and we have also been hurt by others. Over time our hearts have been ‘scratched’ and this slowly this has created wounds…but for us Christians, this is not the end of the story! Because we live in a relationship with Him, we can truly be renewed!
In my life, I have witnessed and lived this experience. I have learnt and experienced that he has the power to renew, all that the world has wrongly programmed in us. He gives the grace of unlearning and enables us to receive the gift of renewal.
I feel that this is not only valuable to us personally, but it makes us rather ‘rich’, even as members of our society. Through this experience, the personality is refined, and enhanced and the past dealt with. The present is released and the future is to be faced with confidence. No longer, will we live under the yoke of the past – but we are freed, so that we may have life, and life in abundance.

More details found in the article section.
The Cenacolo Community Weekend will be held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October at the Ramla Bay Resort. The weekend entitled 'Living the Way, Lessons from the Book of Acts' will also be the beginning of the new commitment for the whole community. Bishop Joe Grech will be our main guest speaker. Visit this site again for news and photos of the event.
On Sunday 23rd September about 120 members of the Cenacolo Community met together for their first 'Covenant Community Meeting' at the Our Lady Of Sorrows Chapel and Convent in Pieta. The highlight of the morning was the praise and worship session. In the first talk addressed to the members, it was explained that one of the aims of the Covenant community is to strengthen the sense of community amongst its members which in turn will strengthen the whole Cenacolo community.
